Eastern Shore Events has been the culmination of a dream for me. From a very young age I had an entrepreneurial spirit and dreamt of owning my own company. When you take that desire and combine it with an intense love of people and great service you have a girl created to be an event planner.
While attending college in Virginia, I worked as a banquet staff member. Shortly after, I began my career with Incredible Edibles Catering Company in Richmond, Virginia. I served as assistant to the Director, then as Director of Catering for nearly ten years. After learning every aspect of the event including culinary, design, execution and etiquette, I choose to work with a neighboring rental company to learn everything behind the scenes. I have designed, built, created, executed and sometimes cooked everything regarding each wedding may need.
In 2005, I was named in Richmond Magazine as one of the top three Wedding Coordinators in Virginia. This led to a very successful event coordinating company working with the Governor and many other wonderful clients throughout the state.
After relocating with my family to Bethany Beach in 2007, I have once again opened my event coordinating company and hope to reach the same level of success at the beach. Offering brides as little as hourly consultations at $30/ hour, day of wedding packages, and full service event planning, each bride and budget can be accommodated.
Our passion is working with our clients to create a personal, unique and festive atmosphere where the celebration of life’s special occasions brings people they love together and leaves them with fond memories that last forever!
